What I love about training at Canberra Fitness Centre is that I have Jacqui or Lauren there to push, encourage and motivate me every session. When I previously went to the gym I wouldn’t work half as hard or achieve half as much as I do now. I leave each class knowing I have worked hard and pushed myself.
When I first start classes with CFC I hadn’t been to the gym or trained in any capacity for over 9 months. I was very nervous about training in a group as I knew my fitness level was poor. However, I found I was able to train at my level with the trainers modifying exercise to all different levels. As my fitness has increased I have been able to work with heavier weights and do the harder modifications of exercises. I love that I can see the difference between what I was doing when I started to what I can do now. I also love the atmosphere of mums and bubs which is supportive and a lot of fun- there isn’t a class where I haven’t had a laugh!
I have lost over 7kg and over a dress size in the 6 months, I have been training at CFC. I feel I am fitter than I have been in years!
I would say ‘give it a go’ and know that you can start at any level of fitness.
