I’m a Mum of two young children and they are the reason I got into the fitness industry. I had this idea that my children would be non-stop, energetic little people and I wanted to be a parent who could keep up with them.
Exercise is also my emotional release, where I can leave everything in the gym and go home to my family exhausted but happy.
I have recently completed my Cert III in Fitness and Pre & Post Natal course and will soon be commencing my Cert IV in Fitness. My goal for my fitness training is to focus on Pre and Post Natal strength, to educate women on the importance of taking care of their bodies and focus on strength rather than what the scales say when they stand on them. The things I have learned between my two pregnancies, and in the last 12 months in particular, I feel shouldn’t be kept quiet… More education for women about exercise should be shouted from the rooftops!
